Sharing the island of Hispanola with the Dominican Republic, Haiti is a captivating and mysterious country located in the heart of the Caribbean. Since 400 years back, Haiti has been known as The Pearl of the Caribbean.  In 1804 and independent Haiti became the first Black Republic in the world.
The Royal Decameron Indigo is the jewel of Hispanola Island, located at Cote des Arcadins, one of the best-kept secrets of the Caribbean. Located only one & one half hrs away from the International Airport and the historical center of  Port Au Prince, Haitis capital, between the sea and the mountains, with a mile of white sand beaches, at the heart of a 135 acres of tropical reserve. Relaxation and serenity are the rule here, between a delicious tropical weather which averages 86 F, accompanied with all the warmth of Haitians and the charm of its gastronomy.

Optional tours  will include visiting their National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH) where you will be immersed in Haitis dramatic history, visit the newly resorted Iron Market, and visiting Ogier Fombrun Museum, home of the famous sugar plantation whose work force was provided by the exploitation of slaves brought over from Africa.  At one time Haiti produced three quarters of the world sugar.  Other optional tours will include ATVs, boat charter to visit one of several destinations that will include snorkeling and trekking in watercress fields with breaks along the way and dipping in some of the natural pools just to mention a few of the optional tours.

Visiting the city of Port -au -Prince, we go through the neighborhoods most affected by the Earthquake of 2010 to reach the Iron Market, a local market for local crafts and products (free time for shopping). Visit the Musée du pantheons National (MUPANAH museum), where we become familiar with the long and dramatic history of Haiti. We have a Short stop at a supermarket to buy local products. To confirm a reservation a $200 deposit is required. Final payment is due 45 days prior to trip departure. Cancellations more than 90 days prior to trip date will be charged $50. Cancellations 89-60 days prior to trip will be $100 & 59 -45 days prior to trip will be charged $200 and cancellations less than 45 days prior to trip will have no refund unless a replacement is found.  Name change fee on tickets is $100.
There is a $15.00 charge for all returned checks. We recommend trip cancellation insurance.
